Sports and staying active has been part of my life since I was very young. Starting out it was eating, sleeping, breathing playing soccer all the way up until college. While soccer was my main passion, I was introduced to the sport of wrestling through my dad who wrestled in the Air Force. Wrestling became a big part of my life and really helped guide me through my high school years. If it had not been for wrestling I might have not found the passion that I have for fitness. It was during my freshman year of wrestling in high school that I had a severe elbow injury that really changed the way I look at training. Through this injury I became aware of how important strength and conditioning is to success as an athlete. This is where my journey with strength training began. Now, having coached wrestling for over eight years I can definitely say strength and conditioning has made me not only a better athlete but also a better coach at the high school level. It’s through coaching that I really found the passion for helping others succeed through fitness.

I graduated with a degree in Multimedia & Graphic Design from Champlain College in Vermont and set off on a career in design. Eventually, I ran my own freelance graphic design business. Over time, I realized my true passion and calling lay in coaching others to succeed through fitness. Fitness has played a major role in my life: from coaching and competing in wrestling, playing college and club rugby, competing in a dozen half marathons, weight training over a decade, to nutrition and cooking. My passion for health and fitness has become a lifestyle for me. I would like to use this passion to help others find that passion. I would like to help others become the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves.
