Growing up, I was always overweight. My nutritional habits were not healthy and the extent of my physical exercise was struggling to keep up in gym class while thinking about cake. Every time I stepped in front of the mirror I was devastated at what I saw so I would turn to food and TV for comfort, I wasn’t ready to step beyond my zone of comfort. This continued all the way through college until my junior year when I decided enough was enough, I was ready to change my life. I signed up for a fitness program where I was assigned a trainer, weekly group workouts with my teammates, and a nutritional guide. It was hard work, there were days when I wanted to give up and eat two pints of ice cream, but every time I felt like giving up, I looked back at how far I came. I started noticing all of the hard work I had put in, I felt amazing and when I looked in the mirror, I loved who I saw. That is what motivated me to become a trainer, I want to help people love themselves again.

We all fall down, but the most important thing is to get back up again and keep going. I have so much passion to motivate and educate others about the benefits of exercise and a healthy lifestyle. There is nothing more rewarding to me than helping people achieve their goals and notice their results.
